Kent State Fashion School Receives Top Honors in the Nation and Midwest for Design and Merchandising in New Ratings

Kent State University’s School of Fashion Design and Merchandising is once again ranked high among the nation’s elite, according to Fashion-schools.org.

For Fashion Design, the school has been rated #4 Nationally (top 3 percent of schools considered), #2 Nationally among public schools and colleges (top 3 percent of schools considered), and #1 in the Midwest.

For Fashion Merchandising, the school has been rated #4 Nationally (top 3 percent of schools considered), #4 Nationally among public schools and colleges (top percent of schools considered), and #2 in the Midwest.

“We are extremely proud that the Kent State Fashion School continues to be recognized as one of the top schools in the nation with the release of the Fashion-Schools.org rankings,” said Kim Hahn, Ph.D., professor and interim director of the school. “This is a great testament of our amazing collection of faculty and staff who are nationally and internationally recognized scholars and educators.
