On behalf of the Internet Marketing Association (IMA), I would like to invite you to our 2014 Delegation, Leadership Experience in Washington, D.C.
Whether you’re facing a legislative or regulatory challenge, or need long-term advocacy solutions to support your industry or organization, our IMA government team will determine the most effective approach to advance your organization’s goals.
IMA travels to Washington, D.C. annually with a delegation of executives providing awareness, education and advocacy opportunities with federal policy agendas, focusing on the technology and Internet sectors.
These visits strategically occur with U.S. Senate and House Leaders and key Administration officials to discuss the ways that we can help drive forward policies in the areas of:
Doing Business with the Federal Government
Privacy Laws
Cybersecurity and Governance
IMA’s goal is to help ensure Washington continues to support companies who support and value Internet marketing, helping them with funding, innovation and growth.
As you know, the IMA is one of the fastest growing professional organizations in the world. Its mission is to provide a unique knowledge-sharing platform where proven Internet marketing strategies are demonstrated and shared to increase each member’s value to their industry and their organization.
Reflecting back, 2013 has been a banner year for IMA, we have surpassed 900,000 professional members, hosted an international delegation to Dublin, met with global leaders, coordinated our first of many advocacy trips to Washington and ended with the largest IMPACT conference to date with over 600 attendees in Las Vegas.
The IMA has grown exponentially in the last few years and an increasing number of members are interested in how the internet space is progressing from a government perspective. Members have also expressed a desire to have more of a voice in Washington and as a result, the IMA has produced the 2014 Washington D.C. Advocacy Experience as the ideal platform to succeed in this endeavor, which is by invitation only and limited to 20 individuals.
