IMA is lending its support to a new initiative called Welcome.us, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating a United States that is fueled by an immigrant tradition with an entrepreneurial drive and spirit based on our diversity of origins.

The initiative is kicking off in June with the first Immigrant Heritage Month, a nationwide effort to gather and share inspirational stories of immigration in America. The celebration will focus on telling some of the stories that have shaped the country and will include special events plus partnerships with corporations, media outlets, organizations, celebrities and athletes as well as faith, civic and political leaders.

IMA will be introducing the initiative to its professional membership base business with a focus on support for legal immigration reform and the path to retaining talent in the U.S.
