Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim President Dennis Kuhl to speak at IMPACT16

Dennis Kuhl joined the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim management team as President in 2003 and currently serves as Club Chairman. His priorities for the operation are civic affairs, community outreach and customer service. Under his leadership, the Angels have shown tremendous growth and advancement in key business initiatives, including sponsorships and marketing revenues.

For Dennis, the competition is not the LA Dodgers, but the SoCal beaches, and the club has leveraged technology to bring families to the stands. For example, daily updates are posted on all social media platforms on a variety of topics including special events like player signing sessions before games. In addition, the team’s website opens on the tickets tab with details on upcoming games. It takes just a couple clicks to purchase tickets without having to browse around.

In terms of traditional media, Dennis oversees the Angels’ flagship radio station, KLAA AM830. He has also implemented a simple and effective identity strategy for the Angels by keeping the logo the same, using the color red and featuring only the Angels on merchandise. He believes that keeping fans in the stands means every employee at the stadium must provide excellent customer service. Finally, to support the team’s commitment to community service, Dennis is involved in several non-profit organizations throughout Southern California.

With this winning combination, the Angels have achieved exemplary growth in the nationwide expansion and marketing of the brand.

Dennis will be a featured executive on our “CEOs and Their Digital Outlooks” panel at IMPACT16 in Las Vegas.
