Life Is Beautiful beat out Atlanta’s Shaky Knees fest and Rhode Island’s Newport Jazz and Folk festivals, among others, to win Pollstar’s Festival of the Year. Pollstar is a worldwide concert news trade publication that awards music-industry professionals with various accolades.

Taking over 18 city blocks in Downtown Las Vegas, Life Is Beautiful unites its diverse audience through the love of music, food, art and inspiring ideas. The festival provides an experience that champions positivity, optimism and free expression while charging up all senses. In 2016, Mumford & Sons, J.Cole and Major Lazer headlined, while more than 90 bands gave energetic and unforgettable performances on four stages over the course of three days.

Also attributing to the festival’s success is its curated food and specialty drink program by local chefs and bartenders; a rousing comedy showcase; the Speaker Series, with inventors, thought leaders and entrepreneurs who share personal stories that enlighten and encourage social change; and bright, inspiring art installations and permanent murals that assist in the revitalization of the neighborhood beyond the festival dates.
