700+ Keenan Employees to Conduct Fifth Annual Impact Day to Provide Hands-On Assistance to Charities

How One Company Is Making an IMPACT on Local Communities

Keenan, an industry-leading California insurance brokerage and consulting firm for health care organizations and public agencies, is taking significant strides to positively affect the communities in which it works.

Each year Keenan partners with local and national community organizations to give back. This year’s fifth annual Impact Day event will be held Aug. 21 and 22, 2017, in Lakewood, Calif., and Aug. 24, 2017, in San Ramon. Partner organizations and activities will include Habitat for Humanity to assemble children’s playhouses, Feeding Children Everywhere to package healthy meals and Happy Hats for Kids to decorate felt hats for children in hospitals. Motivated by the motto, “What you do makes a difference,” the more than 700 Keenan associates will roll up their sleeves to create positive change for those who need it most.

“Our employees love spending the day doing team-centered activities that will benefit someone in need,” said Dan Keenan, Senior Vice President. “The Impact Day efforts have demonstrated just how much we can accomplish by working together.”

In addition to this company-wide, three-day event, throughout the year Keenan extends its corporate social responsibility outreach at conferences and trade shows by encouraging attendees who visit its booth to participate in service projects. The company also offers employees two paid days each year to volunteer for organizations of their choice.
