International design firm Ware Malcomb has developed an innovative multistory industrial building design prototype to meet the changing needs of ecommerce and help solve the challenge of last-mile delivery.
As the national experts on this new project type in the United States – which many believe is the future of the industrial market – Ware Malcomb is leading the innovative design concept, as well as its implementation in the market, including a three-story ecommerce distribution center totaling approximately 375,000 square feet in Red Hook, Brooklyn designed by Ware Malcomb. Hollister Construction Services is serving as design builder for this state-of-the-art facility developed by a partnership of DH Property Holdings and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Once complete, it will be the first facility of its kind on the East Coast.
Jay Todisco, Ware Malcomb’s Executive Vice President, and other Ware Malcomb executives will be speaking about the company’s multistory industrial prototype at various commercial real estate events across the country this year.
