Jake Olsen – Reps for a Cure

FMA and Mike Matuz are doing a series of events leading up to the NFL draft with USC long snapper, Jake Olsen.

Jake has an amazing story which you can see in the ESPN feature.

USC has allowed Jake to participate as the first adaptive athlete in their pro-day on Wednesday March 20th.

He participated in the bench press and will be raising money per rep for his specific type of cancer. The remarkable thing is that the cure for his retinal blastoma, now exists and he is on a mission to raise money to help more people from losing their eyesight.

Mike’s company, the Fitness Marketing Agency, has pledged $500 per rep and Jake has assured he will do 15-20 reps at the pro day.

Jake has also allowed Mike to create a series of private events for Impact donors that participate at a significant level.

FMA has a series of foursome golf experiences as Jake is a 10-handicap on the golf course,
even after he lost his sight.

In April we are doing a private cocktail party where Jake will speak and give Impact donors signed memorabilia in appreciation of their commitment.
