By Sinan Kanatsiz, Chairman & Founder, IMA
Over the past 60 days, the Internet Marketing Association (IMA), in partnership with Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, launched the Career Opportunity Exchange, our featured program that provides students & alumni with an opportunity to share their stories, showcase their skills, and connect with potential employers.
As a board member for Pepperdine Graziadio, I have strong determination and a renewed emphasis for student employment success in this virus economy. With unemployment rates on the rise and young professionals working or learning from home, the dedication and creativity of our community will help us remain strong and get through these times of crisis together in this new world.
Beyond developing Career Opportunity Exchange, the IMA has invested $10,000 into a student emergency fund to aide those in immediate need.
Thank you to our IMA leadership, Neel Grover and his development team at Indi for their engineering of the project, and thank you to our partners at Pepperdine for their invaluable contributions to this project.
I’m proud to share that we’ve received 20+ stellar candidates who are eager to network and explore new opportunities with the broader IMA network. Leveraging the Indi.com platform, each candidate uploaded a short 59-sec video highlighting their skills, their personal mission statement, and a resume.
If you are an employer seeking bright individuals to join your company, or know someone with a variety of skill sets, I invite you to review our candidates or add your own submission here: imanetwork.org/graziadio-exchange
Please contact us through LinkedIn and we will get you connected to the right candidate that will surely impact your organization for the better.
