Last night we celebrated our very own Ken Berrick as he received a Jefferson Award. Every year, 5 of the 55 Jefferson Award winners are chosen to be considered for a national honor from the Jefferson Awards National Ceremony. The committee reviews several criteria: impact, inspiration, innovation, sustainability, and need. We are so proud to announce that Ken earned a Silver Medal and will be considered for this national award later this year! This award honors the impact of individuals who have devoted their lives to putting others first, recognizing the power of extraordinary public service to inspire others to action. This well-deserved award is a true reflection of Ken’s lifelong commitment to Unconditional Care for youth and families. It is a testament to his legacy as a leader, innovator, and changemaker across our communities and beyond. The recording of the awards ceremony can be viewed here, with Ken’s recognition beginning at 10:59.
“I’m so grateful to the Jefferson Awards Committee for this recognition of the work of so many incredible children, families and the amazing staff that have supported them for over 35 years.”
