Technology Recyclers is a computer and electronics recycling company that decided to attempt this world record title as a fun way to highlight the importance of what they do.

 

Most couples eating a single piece of spaghetti simultaneously

Eating a shared piece of spaghetti as a pair, before the pasta breaks or leads the two participants lips to meet, is known as an ‘Italian Kiss’.

Upgrade Estate brought 433 couples together to break the record for the most couples eating a single piece of spaghetti simultaneously in Ghent, Belgium, on 13 May 2022.

The housing association creates and manages buildings for students, young professionals and mature growth businesses with a strong focus on connecting people.

 

Largest uncut emerald

The world’s largest uncut emerald, unearthed in Zambia, weighs in at an extraordinary 7,525 carats (1.505 kg / 3 lbs and 5.09 oz).

The emerald was first discovered by geologists Manas Banerjee and Richard Kapeta and their team in July 2021 at the Kagem mine located in Zambia’s Copperbelt Province.

The gigantic gem was named Chipembele, meaning “rhino” in the local indigenous dialect of the Bemba people of Zambia.

 

Largest macaroni and cheese

On 29 July 2022, Schreiber Foods Inc. achieved the Guinness World Records title for the largest macaroni and cheese with the help of their employees in Logan, Utah, USA.

The American food company cooked a super-sized macaroni and cheese weighing in at a whopping 2,151 kg (4,742 lb 2.29 oz), setting a new world record.

 

Fastest towed bicycle

Austrian athlete Elias Schwärzler pushed his mountain bike to the limit, breaking the record for the fastest towed bicycle by racking up a speed of 272.934 km/h (169.593 mph) in Schipkau, Germany on 22 May 2022.

The 26-year-old professional mountain biker and influencer regularly films stunts featuring the humble bicycle on his YouTube channel.
