Systems Infrastructure Veteran Kevin Persing

GUGLI, an innovator in real-time sensing and monitoring of critical emergency responder infrastructure for both indoors and outdoors as well as private and commercial wireless networks, has appointed Kevin Persing as Director of AHJ Relations and Compliance.

Persing’s focus will be on fostering collaboration between Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and FCC License holders involved in building safety and communications systems. He brings specialized expertise in enhancing public safety through advanced RF solutions and compliance strategies.

In this position, Persing’s responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with AHJs regarding building fire codes as well as radio communications authorities across the U.S.
  • Ensuring that GUGLI products are compliant with code changes and FCC License holder needs as well as adding value beyond compliance
  • Working with the National Fire Protection Association and the International Fire Code work groups to create standards that include monitoring, control and real-time alerts to system owners

Previous positions have included Regional Sales Manager for Axell Wireless, Fiplex/Honeywell and Westell Technologies. In those capacities, he supported the development and promotion of next-generation Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) products that aligned with critical regulatory standards.

“Kevin’s career has been dedicated to advancing public safety wireless communications, with a consistent focus on the radio communications side of fire prevention and code enforcement,” noted GUGLI Co-Founder and CEO Dan Leaf. “That commitment aligns perfectly with our mission to drive advancements in RF monitoring infrastructure to enhance safety and reliability for critical communication systems.”

GUGLI provides real-time ERRCS visibility for both indoor critical infrastructure systems (DAS, donor antennas, passive DAS in buildings, tunnels, and campuses) and outdoor deployments (public venues, transportation hubs, event spaces). It ensures 24/7 first responder radio reliability and faster response times to protect building occupants, visitors, first responder and property.
