This month, KCOMM joined visionaries from across the globe in Venice, Italy, for The Frontier Summit, hosted by Type One Ventures (T1V). With more than 150 leaders in space, AI, venture capital, and frontier technology, the summit focused on building and sustaining a thriving space economy.
Held inside the historic Casino di Venezia, the summit featured provocative panels like “The Business of Space,” “Governing the Final Frontier,” and “Industries Colliding for Space Innovation.” One standout was the Beyond Earth panel, moderated by T1V’s Avantika Gupta, with speakers from Lunar Outpost, Argo Space, BioOrbit, and Space Forge.
The day culminated in a fireside chat with Lorenzo Bertelli, CMO of Prada, discussing the future of fashion—on Earth and the Moon. From lunar suits to runway innovation, the convergence of design, science, and commerce was on full display.
The summit reinforced one thing: space is no longer a distant dream—it’s a sector that’s happening now, at the intersection of policy, private capital, and breakthrough technology.
