Daniel J. Shapiro is the Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and CEO of Fidelis New Energy, where he leads the firm’s mission to develop and operate decarbonization infrastructure across critical energy sectors.
He brings decades of leadership experience in infrastructure investment, project development, and corporate strategy, with prior roles including Global Head of Infrastructure Investments at Quanta Services and senior executive positions at The Shaw Group. Shapiro has served on the boards of major energy and infrastructure companies, including Whitewater Midstream, Howard Energy Partners, and Arcanum Infrastructure.
A former Major in the U.S. Army and adjunct professor of law and ethics, he holds a J.D. with honors from LSU Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
