Grant Gardner

Grant Gardner is Director of U.S. Government Relations at AMD, where he oversees federal advocacy on key policy areas including artificial intelligence, tax, export controls, global trade, competition, and research and development.

He leads AMD’s strategic engagement with policymakers and regulators to advance initiatives critical to the company’s long-term innovation and competitiveness. Prior to joining AMD, Gardner served as Senior Advisor for Policy and Engagement to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, where he led policy outreach efforts, managed the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board, and supported U.S. business interests across international trade and technology policy.

His earlier experience includes roles at the Republican National Committee and in the Office of the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. He holds a degree in International Studies from Baylor University.
