This past weekend at the historic Mar-a-Lago Club, a rare and significant convergence took place—one that may be remembered as a defining moment for America’s next era of innovation. Hosted by Ryan Kriser, Partner at Type One Ventures, and Sinan Kanatsiz, Chairman of the Internet Marketing Association (IMA), more than 80 leaders across space, deep tech, advanced manufacturing, venture capital, AI, quantum computing, nuclear energy, and national security joined together to shape the direction of the United States’ frontier economy.
Their unified mission centered on articulating a clear and compelling vision for the New Space Economy and the breakthrough industries that will power it. At the heart of the gathering was the unveiling of The Breakthrough Manifesto, a bold document positioning Space as the next great engine of human progress. This Manifesto will be refined and finalized for publication in January 2026, incorporating insights from elected officials, founders, venture capitalists, and senior executives who contributed toward its development.

Throughout the event, speakers emphasized that Space is no longer a distant concept but a present, transformative force reshaping communication, defense, healthcare, climate strategy, energy production, agriculture, and global commerce. From satellites driving international trade to microgravity accelerating biotech research, attendees agreed that the future is not unfolding in silos—it is being propelled into orbit.
Keynote speeches, roundtables, and messages from Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, NASA Administrator Elect, Jared Isaacman, along with remarks from Congressmen Rob Wittman, Ken Calvert and Bryan Steil, reinforced the national priorities and economic potential tied to this new frontier. Keynote presentations included Kam Ghaffarian, Executive Chairman of Axiom Space, Greg Autry, Space Czar & NASA CFO-elect, Aleks Grampel, Founder & CEO of Cuby Technologies, Robert Carlisle, Founder & CEO of Argo Space, Colin Doughan, CEO of Gravitics, Dan Wright, Founder & CEO of Armada Ai, Tom O’Leary, Founder & CEO of JetZero, Isaiah Taylor, Founder & CEO of Valar Atomics and Matthew Kinsella, CEO of Infleqtion. The event was moderated by Daniil Chen, Principal of Type One Ventures and closing keynote by Tarek Waked, Co/Founder of the Venture Capital Firm.
The program, running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, was structured around three high-impact roundtables and a working lunch. The discussions explored space as a driver of human progress, the importance of defense and sovereignty in orbit, and the identification of the next frontier sectors across space, AI, deep tech, energy, defense, and biotech. Each table produced concrete outputs—predictions, principles for governance, and a “3 Problems + 3 Solutions” framework—that will feed into the forthcoming Breakthrough Solutions Report.

As the United States stands on the brink of an unprecedented technological and economic transformation, the industries represented at Mar-a-Lago are poised to become the engines of job creation, national security, and innovation for decades to come. The collaborative energy of the gathering underscored a shared belief: America’s next chapter will be defined by those willing to expand its horizons—literally and figuratively—and lead the way into the new frontier economy.
