OAK BROOK, Ill. (January 30, 2025) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced Jason Golub has been elected 2025 President of the board of directors for AIA Chicago. Golub, who serves as Regional Director, Ware Malcomb, is responsible for leadership, overall growth, and management of the firm’s Oak Brook office.
Golub’s 25-year career includes past leadership roles with national and international design firms where he worked with Fortune 500 clients across the country, sharpening his experience in both design and business. His project resume includes an array of project types and scales, from large planned developments to retail, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, multifamily, historic and preservation projects. He has a strong understanding of best practices, risk management, and continues to lead teams with his focused project management abilities.
Golub has a deep passion for mentorship and helping develop the next generation of future leaders. His dedication to the profession extends through his volunteer work in his community, involvement in AIA Chicago’s Architects in Schools program as well as teaching in local underprivileged junior highs and high schools. Golub earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
