IMA Chairman Sinan Kanatsiz recently had the honor of bringing together three remarkable minds across three generations of innovation: Bob Gurr, one of Walt Disney’s original Imagineers; Palmer Luckey, founder of Oculus and collector of classic Autopia cars; and Bill Lyon, aviation enthusiast and founder of the Lyon Air Museum.
Palmer showed Bob his restored Autopia car—one that Bob himself originally designed for Disneyland. Watching Bob see his vision reimagined, decades later, was a powerful reminder: Imagination is timeless when driven by purpose.
