WJK Development Spends $16.3M in New Coastal OC Housing Projects

WJK Development Co., a Rancho Mission Viejo-based firm, recently acquired two prime coastal land sites in Orange County, spending $16.3 million on lots in Laguna Niguel and Huntington Beach. The company’s Laguna Niguel project will feature 22 townhomes near Crown Valley Parkway, designed for empty-nesters looking for lower-maintenance, luxury residences with amenities like a pool, pickleball courts, and dog-friendly trails. This community, located close to Salt Creek Beach, is expected to be available in early 2026, with prices starting around $1.6 million.

In Huntington Beach, WJK plans to develop 10 detached luxury homes on a nearly 1-acre site along Coast Highway. The $10.3 million project reflects the firm’s growing commitment to infill developments in sought-after areas, and each home is anticipated to average 3,950 square feet and sell for around $3.5 million. Known for its strategic entry into tight markets, WJK has already made a mark in Huntington Beach, including ongoing townhome projects and past high-demand properties. The new luxury homes are set to break ground within the next year, also targeting a 2026 delivery.
