Tangram Interiors and Steelcase Bring Hybrid Work Tour to Downtown Los Angeles

Los Angeles [April 30, 2026] – Tangram Interiors, in partnership with Steelcase, hosted The Hybrid Work Tour: Connecting Communities at its Downtown Los Angeles showroom from March 16–27, 2026, bringing together media, industry professionals, and workplace leaders to explore how hybrid work continues to reshape the modern office.

The multi-day experience featured immersive showroom tours, CEU-accredited sessions, a keynote presentation, and a featured panel discussion, offering a hands-on look at how design, technology, and research are coming together to support evolving workplace needs.

A highlight of the tour was the panel, “Empowering People in the Age of Intelligent Workspaces,” moderated by Christina Vernon of Steelcase and featuring leaders from across workplace research, operations, and technology. The discussion focused on how workplace innovation should make work easier, not more complex.

Panelists explored how hybrid work is influencing office design, with organizations placing greater emphasis on collaboration, connection, and employee experience. While many companies have increased in-office expectations, approaches continue to vary, with leaders working to create environments that feel purposeful rather than prescriptive.

The conversation also addressed the growing role of workplace technology. While many organizations have invested in digital tools, the panel emphasized that success depends on how well those systems are integrated into everyday workflows.

Looking ahead, panelists noted that emerging technologies, including AI, are expected to reshape how work gets done, reinforcing the need for spaces that support human interaction, flexibility, and decision-making.

Beyond the panel, the tour included a Saint Patrick’s Day kick-off event, a keynote presentation by Rebecca Charbauski on workplace design impact, and ongoing CEU sessions covering topics such as hybrid meeting environments and evolving workplace strategies.

Visitors also participated in guided tours of Tangram’s showroom, experiencing fully built, tech-enabled environments designed to support modern work.

“This tour offers a hands-on look at how design and technology are shaping the future of hybrid workplaces,” said Nick Meter, President of Tangram Interiors. “It brings together research and real-world application in a way people can actually experience.”

Tangram Interiors continues to partner with industry leaders to help organizations navigate workplace change through practical, people-focused solutions.
